Delete your Hummfeed account

Last updated: 18 October 2026

You can delete your Hummfeed account and the data that goes with it at any time. You do not need to contact us, and you do not need to install anything.

Delete it yourself (fastest)

  1. Open Hummfeed (the Android app or the website) and log in.
  2. Open your account menu and choose Settings, then App and account.
  3. Choose Delete my account and confirm.

It happens straight away. You are logged out on every device.

If you cannot log in

Write to hummfeedsupport@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. If your account uses a phone number, tell us the number. We may ask you to prove the account is yours. We delete it within 30 days.

What is deleted

Straight away: your login details, date of birth, friends and friend requests, activity, messages, and notification subscriptions. Your profile becomes “Deleted user”, and other people can no longer find you. Records of calls you took part in stay, shown as “Deleted user”, until they expire after 90 days.

What we keep, and for how long

Payment records, for 6 years, as tax law requires. Safety reports, for as long as they are needed to keep people safe and to meet legal duties. After deletion these are no longer linked to a name. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Only part of it

To stop notifications, turn them off in Settings. To stop being found by nickname, turn off “Let people find me” in Settings. Messages between friends are deleted automatically after 90 days.
