Child safety standards
Last updated: 18 October 2026
Hummfeed is for adults only (18+). We do not allow anyone under 18 to use it, and we remove the account of anyone we find is younger.
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is not allowed on Hummfeed, in any form: child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexualising a child, asking a child for sexual content or contact, or sharing, offering or asking for any of it. This applies everywhere in Hummfeed: voice calls, text messages, nicknames, avatars and anything else. A person who does this is removed permanently. These standards are part of our Community guidelines and Terms of Use.
How you can report
- In Hummfeed, use Report on the call screen, or in your History. It reaches us fastest and works while the person is still in the call. You can also block anyone.
- Or write to our child safety contact below.
What we do
We do not record voice calls, so we act on reports and on our automatic checks of text. When we learn of CSAE or CSAM, we remove the content and the account, and we keep what the law requires us to keep as evidence. We report confirmed CSAM to the authorities as the law requires: in India to the police or the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in), and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children where that applies. We follow the law and our published standards, and we cooperate with the police and with Google Play.
